Volunteer Background
I'm a regenerative farmer utilizing agroforestry and agroecological practices (IPM, bioremediation, perennial cropping, microbial inoculants, KNF soil building, landrace seed) to grow food crops with 5 acres of woodland and field without any synthetic amendments/applications or tillage. Planning for earthworks on the field portion (~1 acre) in 2020.
Favorite Crops & Least Favorite Crops
I like to grow just about everything, esp if it can be grown as an understory crop, but I can't really do as many tropicals as I'd want at the moment. (North Texas, Zone 8a/b.)

Neighbors' crops (within 1 mile)
I don't know of any other than cattle
I'm not actually sure if there is any alfalfa or canola growing nearby, but it seems prudent to list it as I haven't driven 3 miles in any direction. Have not noticed any of the others in my neck of the woods so I'm going to assume they're not being grown.
Other relevant information
Deer and other wildlife on occasion, cattle next door that sometimes get out of their hotwire and goats that aren't fenced nearby (haven't had any issue with the latter yet.)
