Experienced gardener. Originally from NJ, now in N. Idaho at roughly 2800 elevation. I have grown annuals, perennials and trees in Hawaii, PNW, NJ and now inland NW. While in NJ, helped with the Chestnut Society on identifying and collecting hand pollinated nuts for back crossing. Have a permaculture background since "96", design course "99". Currently growing heirloom and OP garden crops and various perrenials. Special focus at this time, growing a NJ native cactus (opuntia humifusa), (dioscorea batata) and goumi (eleagnus) collected from a monestery in Oregon, among other things. Looking to regrow Eastern native maypop.
