Volunteer Background
Have been interested in permaculture and creative gardening techniques and outside the box thinking for years now. Currently live in Western North Carolina and have good farmland that I am growing food on. Volunteer with the Veteran's Healing Farm, a non profit with a similar taste for experimentation and a good mission.
Favorite Crops & Least Favorite Crops
I've really enjoyed growing garlic, peppers, sweet potatoes, figs and raspberries, all of which have done well for me in my current space. Lettuce bores me. Am starting to experiment with different varieties of beans as well.

Possible GMOs in the neighborhood...
There is some corn grown around the area that's probably GMO. Otherwise I think it's probably all clear.

No deer. There are some brown weevils that really enjoy potatoes and raspberry plants.
